Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 167 - Orchestra

First stop after a lovely train ride in from Lewisham station was the 2pm concert of Australian Chamber Orchestra (two Vivaldin pieces which I adored), to which Steve has a subscription, featuring the gorgeous and talented German cellist Daniel Müller-Schott ...

Then an early dinner, like 5pm (getting ready for old age! LOL) at the Sydney Opera Bar - yummy fish n chips and white wine watching a divinely beautiful sunset over the Harbour and the Bridge in particular ...

Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 148 - Foggy thoughts

Such heavy fog today.

Interesting to walk through this morning with Fahmi and when I got to work you couldn't see the Bridge till well into the morning.

And here are the tweets the day inspired ...

Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 59 - Haircut ... and a big walk.

What a night!

Another #cityfail debacle as loose plates on Harbour Bridge shut off all North Shore trains in both directions forcing me to walk across the Bridge again. Took 40 minutes including train from Circ Quay to Town Hall to get to haircut at Just Cuts.

Was so tired had sushi at Makanai for dinner then bought some DVDs and CDs at JB.

Home to watch an episode of Modern Family with Aidan and to eat two hot cross buns with butter.

Night ended well with a call from my guy.

... and finally the haircut!

Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 43 - Such a gorgeous dusk

Worked till 7 and was rewarded with divine scene at dusk.

Then home to Indian food, episode of Ben and Kate and downloading from iTunes.

Bliss.

Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 35 - Across the Bridge (But Not Back Again)

The trains went to crap this morning.

Overhead wires got tangled on a train at Waverton and they had to shut down the Northern Line.

Foreseeing chaos at the bus stands at Wynyard - as it turned out Cityrail could only muster 30 buses at short notice so I was quite prescient ... or perhaps I just know Cityrail? - I got off at Cityrail, and walked up through The Rocks to Argyle Street and then along the Bridge.

Fortunately it was a very cool morning, and I enjoyed the slow walk, the gorgeous view, tweeting all the way and of course taking photos.

It's Monday... sigh ... wasn't it just Friday night and Steve and I were eating at Sun Thai?

Anyway this reminds me it's not all bad ...

Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 79 - Happy 80th birthday Sydney Harbour Bridge!

Wow the Bridge is 80 years old! (Even Google got in on the act.)

And I remember walking over it for the 75th celebration. How time flies.

Happy birthday to the loveliest Bridge in the world in an equally fabulous setting.

I tweeted this one out. Yep I have no shame.

Rambo the dog gives out his own unique well wishes to the Bridge.
