Busy day - Steve had a hair cut at 9.45 in Newtown so we had a quick brunch at Varga Bar - after scoring a parking spot in popular carpark! - then I went to get Iron Man 3 on DVD at HUM, a birthday present for John ...

Then back to meet up with Peter and Waz at Zenix to inspect an apartment. Lovely roomy and great view from 7th floor but lots wrong with it. Not impressed.

Back to my apartment with Waz and Peter while they waited for 12pm showing off 14403 in next building ... we headed off for lunch ...

... at Carss Park Cafe and Grill to celebrate John's 52nd birthday with his wife Susie and friends Ellen and Tracy ...

Gorgeous weather and everyone was in fine spirits.

Lunch all done (including a delicious sticky date pudding), we walked back to the car along the bay - beautiful!

Finally finished up the day with drinks at Marly upstairs and then dinner at Sherpas and ice cream at Gelato Blue with Fahmi, Waz, Peter, Ian and Ingo ... fabulous night! LOVED it!
