Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 352: Sick as an Andrew part 2

Had to cancel lunch with Justin today and dinner with Essie and Fahmi which was a bummer but I just felt too sick. Managed to sit up long enough to blog what I had to, but mostly slept and chilled and watched The Blacklist and The Flash and consumed expensive medication and tweeted about my lurgy ...

Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 252: Kind of a down day

Today was a major slump day.

They're usually caused by severe lack of sleep - last night's sleep was terrible - which leaves me with no emotional energy to tackle the feeling my life has slid into a toilet at the moment.

Not true of course but plays havoc with me so what trying to catch up on sleep, and not getting writing done, not the best day.

But after I had an arvo nap and watched The Truth About Cats and Dogs - I am doing a guest blog for another site - I was greatly cheered up and actually got some writing done that night.

BUSY DAY!

Got a ton done - 3 blog posts, jobs searched for, cleaning, reading, exercising. felt good to really nail a lot of things on my To Do  List.

Steve had to work again so spent the day at his place reading (Existence by David Brin) and blogging ...

and then Steve cooked up a delicious Nigella Lawson recipe of chicken and vegetables on brown rice ... YUM!!

And then we lit candles for #lightthedark, a way to remember Reza Berati who died in the hell of the detention centre riots on Manus Island. There were physical demonstrations around Australia but we lit our candles at Steve's place, and I tweeted and Facebooked our participation in this vitally important event.
