Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 265: INTERVIEW!

After walking with Waz, did some last minute prep the left just before 9.30 for train and light rail trip to interview at Channel 10 studios in Ultimo. The interview went brilliantly well - David and Vanessa were just delightful and I felt like I represented myself quite well.

After all the nerves and stress leading up to it, I grabbed some comfort food on the way home and collapsed for the day in front of the TV.

Happy though with a job well done!!

Then into the City that night for a secret concert Fahmi had booked for Steve and I and himself at the Opera House. Birthday presents for Steve and I, the concert featured Holy Holy in support and Boy and Bear as main act and both were awesome. Dinner beforehand at Opera Bar where I caught Steve up on all the interview news over burgers and chips (Fahmi didn't get there till about 7pm)

Interview with Channel 10 tomorrow so spent much of the day getting ready for it reading up on The Loop and The Living Room, Channel 10, listening to lots of chart music and arming myself with knowledge about new social media platforms etc. Lots of work but preparation always pays off.

This was all, of course, after a fab brekkie at Garden Cafe with Steve ...

And today I bounced back and how ... caught up on this blog, applied for a job at Telstra, wrote blog posts, read more of the book I need to review ... great sense of accomplishment. YAY!!!

BUSY DAY!

Got a ton done - 3 blog posts, jobs searched for, cleaning, reading, exercising. felt good to really nail a lot of things on my To Do  List.
