Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 265: INTERVIEW!

After walking with Waz, did some last minute prep the left just before 9.30 for train and light rail trip to interview at Channel 10 studios in Ultimo. The interview went brilliantly well - David and Vanessa were just delightful and I felt like I represented myself quite well.

After all the nerves and stress leading up to it, I grabbed some comfort food on the way home and collapsed for the day in front of the TV.

Happy though with a job well done!!

Then into the City that night for a secret concert Fahmi had booked for Steve and I and himself at the Opera House. Birthday presents for Steve and I, the concert featured Holy Holy in support and Boy and Bear as main act and both were awesome. Dinner beforehand at Opera Bar where I caught Steve up on all the interview news over burgers and chips (Fahmi didn't get there till about 7pm)

Interview with Channel 10 tomorrow so spent much of the day getting ready for it reading up on The Loop and The Living Room, Channel 10, listening to lots of chart music and arming myself with knowledge about new social media platforms etc. Lots of work but preparation always pays off.

This was all, of course, after a fab brekkie at Garden Cafe with Steve ...

Final T interview today at 3pm.

Hot day so took taxi into City to avoid sweating to death in suit.

Super quick trip in so spent a good 1/2 hour browsing in Dymocks to relax and cool down.

Had afternoon tea with Waz afterwards in Myer Foodcourt (Muffin Break muffins!) and rode home on train with him.

Went to my second interview today  ... excited and nervous but it went well.

Back home to blog and read and cool down (hot in the suit!).

Another interview - this time with Telstra which went wonderfully well. It was actually lots of fun believe it or not and I am excited about working on this new project they're about to launch.

Steve arrived home from Bathurst that night and took me out for a wonderful dinner at Delhi O' Delhi in Erskineville - so lovely to spend time with just him and talk about all sorts of stuff ... so glad he's back!

Off to the City for a 2pm interview at Pusher digital agency ... first interview and quite nerve-wracking but survived it all nicely ...

Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 304 - Getting all technical ...

I am not a technical guy.

I just am not.

But I gave it my best shot today when I starting setting up all the equipment needed to record two interviews with two authors and with Danielle's help, largely succeeded.

Well fully succeeded really since the interviews recorded beautifully (we think!).

One of them was with well known champion of music and conductor, Richard Gill,  who was just delightful and I got a pic with him (for Steve) as did Rose.
