The Christmas decorations went up in the classrooms tonight at work ...

and one of the lovely presenters, Jeni Mawter popped in with gifts for us.

Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 290 -

Rambo came into work today and while he usually ignores me - must be able to tell I am primarily a cat kind of guy - he was very attentive when I fed him some of my chicken from my salad.

Very attentive!

Then off that night to see the Australian Chamber Orchestra with my guy and friends Alan and Pieta. Loved it - all baroque music and the guest conductor, Richard Eggar was a hoot! He managed to give great background on each piece while being slightly irreverent and very funny all the same time.

Lots of fun!

My boss finally made it into work today after being sick for a week with the flu, and almost immediately suited up her dog Rambo in the new Superman outfit that had arrived for him in her absence.

He looked adorable in it.

I met up with the also very adorable Sammi who I know from my days at Optus. We had a lovely time catching up, talking about work, our planned trips overseas ... OK her actual one and my aspirational ones ... and just hanging out. I love her company!

My boss brought her dog Rambo into work today and he was as adorable as ever.

He doesn't do much for my productivity but he is lovely to have around...

Wow the Bridge is 80 years old! (Even Google got in on the act.)

And I remember walking over it for the 75th celebration. How time flies.

Happy birthday to the loveliest Bridge in the world in an equally fabulous setting.

Rambo the Dog (my boss Valerie's much-loved pooch) came into work today. 


He is so cute, and a great work companion. (Save for the farts, of which for some reason, there were many today)

Hands Full of Glitter and Tofu : 2011 Day 333 (Tuesday 29 November) - Rambo comes to work

One of the loveliest parts of working where I now work is that my boss, who adores her two cats and her dog, often brings them to the office. Rambo, who is the cutest of dogs, and who visits most often, came today carried Paris Hilton-style in a red bucket and looked just adorable.

Naturally I had to take a photo...or six...
