Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 145: ACO- DACO!

After a delicious home cooked brunch - Steve is so talented! - off to see ACO and The Presets present Timeline, a 40,000 year look at the history of music. It was beautifully done with everything from Ghanaian and Chinese drumming to classical music and jazz and pop music, all linked together so you could see how one music form gave rise to another.

We caught the train just as darkness was falling and Vivid was kicking into high gear ...

And here's a shot of my gorgeous soon to be 5 year old niece Zara ready for a special fund raising walk for close friends of my sister ...

Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 342 - First reindeer antler car of the season

Much quieter day today.

After brunch together, Steve headed off to ACO with Alan and I chilled at home reading, blogging and nipping out for an hour to help Waz get a heavy outdoor setting from Bunnings for his balcony.

And I saw my first pair of reindeer antlers on a car! Yay!

Took this just outside Motto, where Waz lives, as I walked home

Then had a lovely night chilling with my beautiful man in front of my twinkling Christmas tree all lit up.

Yay for leftover Christmas picnic dips, antipasto yummies and crackers

Lovely Rose

Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 290 -

Rambo came into work today and while he usually ignores me - must be able to tell I am primarily a cat kind of guy - he was very attentive when I fed him some of my chicken from my salad.

Very attentive!

Then off that night to see the Australian Chamber Orchestra with my guy and friends Alan and Pieta. Loved it - all baroque music and the guest conductor, Richard Eggar was a hoot! He managed to give great background on each piece while being slightly irreverent and very funny all the same time.

Lots of fun!

* I also shared a really important message on Facebook today about bullying and was gratified by the response from my friends.

Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 197 - Into Sydney Town ... and back home for BIG sausages

Joined my gorgeous guy, his Australian Chamber Orchestra watching partner Alan, and his girlfriend Pieta for lunch at the Opera House before Steve and Alan saw a performance. Food is expensive but the burger I had was delicious. Great chips too!

The sky was so blue I even took a photo at St Peters station
Steve with the Bridge behind him ... so touristy of us!

Steve facing towards the City

Self-taken couple shot ... yeah!

"Look ma, I have a scarf!"

The Coathanger in all its winter-lit glory

Then Pieta and I walked to the mall and spent money at JB Hi-Fis buying all sorts of TV box sets cheap. #suchfun

I chilled for the afternoon before Steve got back to my place. We napped for a while and then headed out for dinner at Smash Sausage Kitchen where we go so much we now know the owner. Lovely guy who took the time to chat to us tonight about what we do etc.
