Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 156 - Finally caught up with the very lovely Sammi!

Finally caught up with Sammi for the first time all year - we talked LOTS, ate tons of dumplings at Taste of Shanghai, had some yoghurt, laughed, talked seriously, funnily ... had a ball and I didn't get home till 10.30.

FABULOUS!!

Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 199 - Rambo-Man and the art of sushi with Sammi

My boss finally made it into work today after being sick for a week with the flu, and almost immediately suited up her dog Rambo in the new Superman outfit that had arrived for him in her absence.

He looked adorable in it.

I met up with the also very adorable Sammi who I know from my days at Optus. We had a lovely time catching up, talking about work, our planned trips overseas ... OK her actual one and my aspirational ones ... and just hanging out. I love her company!

Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 143 - Thai and cupcakes...

Fun lunchtime picnic at work of Thai and then cupcakes to celebrate Valerie and Rose's birthdays the week before, and all our hard work of late. Fun!

Then I met up with my gorgeous friend Sammi from working at Optus days and we had a blast eating dumplings (only sour note was all the awful redundancies inflicted on people I knew well and worked with) and Mother's crepes. YUM!

Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 66 - Catch up with Sammi

I finally got to catch up with my darling friend Sammi tonight in Surry Hills at a Vietnamese fusion restaurant called Cochin. They have a $30 banquet deal which is great value - 4 entrees (including delicious prawn rice paper roll), 2 mains, panda rice, and dessert and tea. It was totally delicious and we had an awesomely good time talking and talking and laughing and.... it was brilliant.

These Discount Chemists are spreading like a plague. I loathe them. Especially when they replace funky music stores like HUM.

I finally made it to the Mardi Gras parade route 3 days late. Not quite as festive as it would have been on Saturday.

Itsy bitsy deli shy spring rolls and the rice paper roll

Creme Caramel and Chocolate Mousse - YUMMMMM!
The delightful Sammi who I miss seeing at work every day.

Yep this will help me get thin!
