Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 203: Goodbye Magnation, hello Ellen ...

After working on copy for Jane this morning, off to Newtown to pick up last lot of Entertainment Weekly mags from Magnation which is closing tomorrow :( No mags - got two others instead Total Film and Sci Fi Now - before heading to meet Ellen for lunch at Cafe C, followed by gelato and a nice slow walk back to St Peters station. Fab to see her but sad another store I love is GONE.

Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 77: Sunrise and Jason Lee

Started the day off as normal with Waz and was met by beautiful sunrise on way home down Fahmi's street ...

Then met Jason Lee, home for 6 days from Afghanistan, for a quick 1.5 hour (3pm-4.30pm) gelato, shop at T2, Magnation and Foodworks catch up, the length and breadth of King Street.

Fab to see him!

Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 145 - A halo over the Bridge... and Dendy Newtown re-opens!

Left work and it was raining just enough to create a foggy halo over the Sydney Harbour Bridge...

Then off to Newtown to grab mags at Magnation, buy shoes at Platypus, new albums by Scissor Sisters, Regina Spektor, and Ladyhawke, and check out the brand new Dendy with 10 cinemas! Count 'em...10!
It has lost its old grungy character but looks so modern and spacious...

And then it rained... HARD... and me with no umbrella. Thankfully Fahmi picked me up outside The Bank Hotel on his way home from Broadway.
