Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 311: Jacarandas, Jason Lee and Noah

The Jacaranda trees are in full bloom on Coulson Street and they remind me so much of growing up in Grafton and its Jacaranda Festival.

Then met up with Jason Lee who was back in town for a few days before heading out to Sierra leone to be part of the admin of the fight against Ebola. Brave man! So good to see him and Luke and Jeremy and yes the food at Stir Crazy has improved!

And here's another shot of my super adorable gorgeous nephew Noah ...

Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 77: Sunrise and Jason Lee

Started the day off as normal with Waz and was met by beautiful sunrise on way home down Fahmi's street ...

Then met Jason Lee, home for 6 days from Afghanistan, for a quick 1.5 hour (3pm-4.30pm) gelato, shop at T2, Magnation and Foodworks catch up, the length and breadth of King Street.

Fab to see him!

Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 15 - Catching up with Jason

Have a delightful catch up with my wonderful friend Jason Lee, who is back from Afghanistan for a break. Lunch at the fabulous, being re-modelled Rose in Erko and then into the City for shopping (grocery etc). So wonderful to see him!

Then back home, blogging, reading and off to Dendy to see 12 Days a Slave with Fahmi which was very good ... followed by Sushi Train sushi at the TABLE, not the bench ... YAY!

The two tweets above refer to a story published on the pole going up through a train floor at Edgecliff and the news service used my tweet about the heat at Town Hall station hours earlier to illustrate commuter anger! HILARIOUS!

Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 254 - A spot of afternoon tea

Caught up with my dear friend Jason who was in town for the week from his job in Kabul.

We met at Shenkins in Erskineville Road for a shared jam donut and mineral water (me) and chai tea (him) before walking to King Street for some shopping (food in my case) and then a cool drink at his place.

Lovely catch up!
