Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 337: More storms and Bridget

Fell in love with pears and raspberries ( leftover from Steve's divinely yummy raspberry coulis that he used on my birthday cake on Saturday night) today ... before another storm rolled in (the latest in a long line) just as I was heading out to a combined birthday dinner and movie with Bridget in Newtown. By the time we reached Newtown, the water was ridiculously high but we managed to find a park and not get sploshed by buses racing past on King Street - I leapt delicately out of the way at one point much to Bridget's amusement) - before heading in to see Nightcrawler with dinner at Happy Chef afterwards. Bridget also very sweetly took me in to HUM and told me to pick out anything I wanted as a present. A wonderful, fabulous night ...

And Rachel sent me a pic of her and my mum and Jordan celebrating Nanna's retirement home Christmas at mum and dad's place because Nanna doesn't like the formal events ...

Another fabulous morning and more fabulous sunrise shots and pretty clouds on a dawn sky ...

After a busy morning I met Ellen at Palace for Yum Cha and lots of fab conversation ... and she paid for the meal as her birthday present to me which was so sweet!

And then home to rest, shower and go out again to see Julia Gillard speak about her book My Story at Leichhardt Town Hall with my fab friend Bridget. We even got our books signed which was exciting! Julia Gillard is so warm, friendly and funny. Then drove from there to Cleveland Street to a jazz club to meet up with Bridget's boyfriend Dave and his friends for a fabulous night of jazz, wine and burgers ...

Beautiful rainbows on a rainy day ...

Still got a bit wet catching train though, as did the paper ... off to join Bridget at the exhibition of her photo where she does her photography classes in Paddington ...

Had a fab dinner afterwards at the Paddington Inn with her new kind of bf David who was really lovely and great to talk to.

Caught up with the fabulous lovely Bridget at Dendy for The Lunchbox, which was wonderful, followed by, appropriately enough, Indian food at Tamana's. GREAT afternoon.

Fabulous arvo movie with Bridget at Dendy, The Trip to Italy, then dinner at Tamana's and drinks (a bottle of beautiful French red wine) at The Bank Hotel. Awesome wonderful night where we talked LOTS. Love hanging out with her :)
