What a fabulously funky but deliciously snarly album. The Y x 3 have been accused of selling out with this CD because it isn't rock enough, whatever that means, but frankly it marries the punk rock sensibilities of Y x 3 with an irresistably funky groove, and the searing bluesy vocals of Karen Orzolek, dripping with barely suppressed emotion remain as potent and catchy as ever. I dare you not to be drawn into the sexy setting of this wonderful collection of songs.
