Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 107: Rhinos ... and @FatBellyBella

Off to an appointment with C'link today and saw one of the rhinos scattered throughout the City just outside of Hyde park on the way into Oxford Street. Very colourful and I adored it!

And then a day at work with Max Coaching, off to The Star with Fahmi to see Erykah Badu. Food was amazing beforehand and Ms Badu was BRILLIANT! LOVED the concert - and was one of 6 people invited to an after concert event at a small cafe in Liverpool Street thanks to tweeting out a shot of us at the concert. Alas Fahmi couldn't go because his back was killing him - mine for once was not - and so we headed home. But how cool to have made that list!

Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 106: Spent a lot of time with The Rosie Project

I have made it a point to read lots of books this year and the latest recipient of this renewed focus on my love of reading (sadly neglected in recent years) is The Rosie Project, a wonderful book by Graeme Simsion.

It was a grey and rainy day too which made it perfect for some afternoon reading on my bed with the balcony door open.

Off to physio to get back fixed - Mitch did an awesome job - and treated myself to a rare bought lunch at Alexandria seafoods on the way back ... ate it while I watched Ellen ...

And watched the sixth last episode of Warehouse 13 with Aidan ... great ep. but sad it's ending :(

One Twitter friend joked that she was going to stop those stupid Buzzfeed quizzes which I am also heartily sick of ...

and after 4 1/2 years ran out of Hy's, a Canadian seasoning I love. OH NO!!!

Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 103: Awake! Awake!

GREAT night's sleep and felt awesome for once (stress has affected my sleep patterns deleteriously of late alas) ...

Had thrown back out last night so on Aspro Clears and walking around VERY CAREFULLY but still  managing to joke about it on Twitter ...

And ate some of the Easter eggs Jane gave me and Joan at work last Thursday while Steve went off to ACO with Alan (he bought me lots of groceries when he came over for dinner that night which was SO sweet) ...

Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 102: Brunch with Fahmi

Fahmi was waiting to get his car serviced in Croydon so texted us very early 8.30am asking if we wanted to do brunch.

So a couple of very quick showers later - we were still in bed at the time he texted - we zoomed across to Summer Hill, where he'd caught the train to and had brunch at this fab quirky cafe he'd found which he called the Drugstore Cafe because of its huge neon sign (still no idea what it's actually called).

Menu small but food YUMMMOOO ++++ (my meal was chickpeas, smashed avocados, pomegranates and lime on sourdough ... SO delicious!!)

Longe overdue, wonderful, fabulous lunch with Susie at Moo Burgers (her treat which was so generous and lovely), where we talked about her trip to Chicago (from where the Fanny May chocolates - below - were procured), my job situation and talk heart to heart like we always do.

Finished up with gelato and a lovely long walk along King Street.

Such a wonderful catch up!
