Aidan and I ended up having our own impromptu Halloween party with 3 plush toys I had in a box, and some Halloween TV episodes including the sixth episode of The Big Bang Theory season 1 "The Middle Earth Paradigm where everyone initially dresses as The Flash before Leonard changes into a Hobbit outfit, Howard as Robin Hood (everyone thinks he's Peter Pan), Raj as Thor and Sheldon as The Doppler Effect ... and Leonard kisses Penny for the first time.

We had some wine, laughed a lot and chilled.

Not that scary but a great way to mark the night.

Plus I gave Aidan his birthday present from Steve and I as he was heading off the next night to Canberra for the weekend with Greg and wouldn't be around.

He loved The Walking Dead card playing game and the True Blood coasters. Yay!

And Bodhi dressed up as a pirate super hero for the day at preschool. Enormously cute as always!

Back at my place we stayed at home, ordered in Thai (it was a challenge getting it since the lift was out; so I went down to get in while Steve kept the fire door open), drank wine and watched fireworks on the  Fleet Review display in the Harbour on TV and also out the window ... really fun, relaxing night ...

Day off!!

Used up 4 hours of my time in lieu + 4 hours of holiday leave and had a fabulous day at home.

Slept in ... got some cleaning up done around the house ...

Then walked up to King Street ...

Then watched Dans la Maison (In the House) at Newtown ... well eventually ... music kept playing 20 minutes past 10.30 start time with no sign of ads or shorts ... no response from Dendy's social media team ... finally person next to me got up and got someone to fiddle with computer till it started 25 minutes late ... great movie though ...

Then picked up 5 Entertainment Weekly mags from Magnation, Miranda season 3 + new Josh Pyke album from HUM, and lunch with Waz at Matee ....

Then a glorious 1.5 hour nap, some blogging, and TV watching with Aidan including Falling Skies season 3, episode 5 - ho hum - Under the Dome episode 2 - quadruple ho hum - and 2 eps of Suburgatory, one Ok, one very funny ... and then to ZZZZZ ...

After my friend Sammi cancelled dinner tonight due to (a) forgetting about our appointment (hey I've done it too; life is busy! and (b) having too much work anyway, I decided to head home, cook up some honey sesame chicken Kan Tong saucy thing and watched an episode of Defiance and one of Grimm with Aidan.
