Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 340: No picnic, lots of shopping

We cancelled the picnic based on cataclysmic storm predictions for today which as it turned out to be not much of anything. Instead of torrential rain and hail we got, well, blue skies and soft breezes, perfect picnic weather. Colour me very unimpressed but good side of it all was Steve was exhausted, we got a day of Christmas shopping in at broadway, and a chilled night with Aidan and Greg to mark our annual housesmates Christmas dinner and present exchange which was wonderful.

And there's always next year ... the picnic shall rise again ...

A lovely chilled night of sitting on the balcony talking over candlelight with Aidan and Greg, eating Indian food and enjoying the beautiful breeze ... and mysterious light show from the City.

Perfect.

And having my gorgeous guy Steve, and housemate Aidan and bf Greg help me out too is just wonderful.

To top it off we exchanged presents and spent a delightful night chilling on the balcony, eating dips and chips, Thai food and drinking wine.
