Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 340: No picnic, lots of shopping

We cancelled the picnic based on cataclysmic storm predictions for today which as it turned out to be not much of anything. Instead of torrential rain and hail we got, well, blue skies and soft breezes, perfect picnic weather. Colour me very unimpressed but good side of it all was Steve was exhausted, we got a day of Christmas shopping in at broadway, and a chilled night with Aidan and Greg to mark our annual housesmates Christmas dinner and present exchange which was wonderful.

And there's always next year ... the picnic shall rise again ...

Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 320 - Glebe forever

Hmm not sure how but I thought the annual Glebe Street Fair was on today - it was in fact Sunday - so we ventured forth to Glebe, where I haven't been in a while to look through Glebe Books, eat at a new cafe I think called the Gobbler and shop at Target in Broadway for on sale toys for Bodhi, Zara and Jordan for Christmas.

Lovely day followed by a lovely nap at Steve's place and delicious lamb shanks for dinner.
