Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 150 - Burritos baby!
Got the train to Macdonaldtown, picked up my Entertainment Weekly mags at Magnation, grabbed some books and a David Tennant as 10th Doctor Who bobble head at the Arts Supplies store, some CDs at HUM (The Great Gatsby soundtrack and Kaki King's newie Glow) and signed up for a new internet plan with Telstra.
Phew!
Then met my beautiful guy for dinner at a new place called the Beach Burrito Company. Quite easy Mexican and a fun atmosphere. Definitely go back.

Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 148 - Foggy thoughts
Such heavy fog today.
Interesting to walk through this morning with Fahmi and when I got to work you couldn't see the Bridge till well into the morning.

Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 145 - The (almost) end of Eurovision
Woke up this morning, and after a shower and Insiders, and while waiting for the toast to cook (Steve was still showering) I took most of the Eurovision decorations, largely because the decorations were starting to droop markedly threatening to choke us as we walk by.
It's always a sad day when they come down but I did leave some up for as long as they last as Aidan and I both love the colour and the different look to the place.
Then off to get a haircut and groceries at Marrickville Metro while Steve headed home to clean up - then he came to collect me about 2pm or so and I spent the afternoon napping, reading and blogging before an Oricco chicken dinner and home.

Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 144 - Happy Birthday Susie and Ian
Big fabulous birthday-a-thon today!
Started off with my dear friend Susie's birthday at St George Motor Boat Club in Sans Souci, just next door to where I lived when I first came to Sydney.
It was a gorgeous sunny day, the company was wonderful, we got Susie a giant Piglet and Winnie the Pooh foil balloon (as well as the first season of Grimm) and the food was quite delicious.
A wonderful, fun birthday lunch.
Steve bowled the play of the day - SOOOO close to the jack! Amazing! |
