365 Pink Feather Boas All in a Row - Day 129 (Monday 10 May 2010) : Normal is as Normal is Sweaty

Today was actually a good day at work. I know, what's with that?! I was as stunned and surprised as anyone else really. This is not to say it wasn't laughably busy - although who has time for a belly laugh with my schedule? - but somehow in amongst all the crazy busyness, I managed to maintain a mostly Zen-like aura of calm, probably largely due to the fact that after last week's 12 hours + overtime, I was determined not to lose all my spare time to the job this week, and arrived a little later, and left at 5pm. The day still involved an hour's overtime, and I still moved around in a blur of frenetic motion, but my state of mind was helped by the fact that i had these new parameters in place, and I was determined to leave on time-ish and leave any non-urgent stuff till the next day.

Leaving when I did meant I could catch the train home with my close friend, Warren, and then go walking around the oval at Sydney Park before circumnavigating the perimeter (the photo is of the Tshirt I wore last night). This was my first major piece of exercise in weeks, and it felt great to be out and about again, and enjoying the company of Warren on what was a delightfully cool, peaceful autumn evening.....
