Big day!

My keratocanthoma on the face came off AT LAST and as a favour to Valerie and Rose at work, I live tweeted the whole thing (bar of course the surgery itself where my face was covered with a cloth that covered my face save for the "skinblob" itself) and it turned the 45 minutes of waiting for the doctor, and 10 minutes for the local anaesthetic to be applied.

Long wait at plastic surgeon to check out the skin blob. 45 minutes after scheduled appointment time I finally saw him - calmed down by then after finding out it was just a consult, not a removal of the awful blob on my face - and he was lovely... and by a stroke of luck, someone cancelled for this Thursday so it will be removed then!

Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 59 - Still sick

Spent the day watching Ellen, and catching up on 4 episodes of Eureka and 5 of Glee.


And walking to the doctor to get checked out in 30+ degree humidity - thankfully doctors surgery, while spartan and industrial, was chilled like a fridge. Bliss.


Back home via Erko shops to get some meds and then home to sleep...

Post- zombie apocalypse industrial. Thankfully doctor warm and friendly.
