Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 289 - The emptiness of cats

Fahmi was away overseas again so I walked to the station via his place, fed the lovely Simone, who meowed, as all cats do like he hadn't been fed in a month and fed him his vittels.

This meant I didn't make my usual 7.17 train, which is the last train before everyone starts looking like sardines stuffed in a very small moving tin, and got the station just after it had left so the station looked weirdly 28 Days Later apocalyptically empty.

I liked it.

Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 162 - Graffiti, Glowing Ducks, and Ga Prow-Gai

I was in a train to work that would have looked right at home in a slum somewhere... don't think Cityfail has any idea what cleaning this might entail so has abandoned the idea altogether.

Fun thing happened at work - Danielle's mum sent a four pack of glow-in-the-dark rubber duckies. So much fun!

It inspired this post on writing bar.com

Then I had a gloriously romantic dinner with my beautiful man before he left for Bathurst at Stir Crazy Thai. It was sappy, sweet and he fussed over me and made me feel like a king.

I love him.

(Alas it was after this meal at about 1.30 am that I woke up feeling very sick and stayed awake for 3 hours trying not to vomit but using the toilet actively in another way.)

Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 118 - The arty side of Cityrail

Another busy day at work and a delightful dinner that night at my place - Moroccan Meatballs with brown rice, squash and broccoli with Pinot Noir from NZ- with my gorgeous guy and my housemate Aidan. Perfect last day of the working week.

Also saw some semi-fun graffiti at the train station which I photographed as I waited for the 7.40 train with my housemate Aidan...
