Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 187: Political tweeting, hot cross buns, yummy stew

Started the day off with some tweeting while watching #Insiders ...

Had the last of this year's Luigi's Bakery (Dulwich Hill) hot cross buns for brunch ...

And some of Steve's delicious beef stew for dinner (god he cooks well!) ...

Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 123: Lazy Saturday

Nothing much happening today, which was wonderful, so we had hot cross buns for brunch (bought them for just $1.20 a packet at Coles), I napped and blogged while Steve cleaned and tidied up.

Then off to Reverse Garbage to get the materials for our Eurovision decorations and finally a lovely dinner of goulash that Steve cooked from scratch (cheesecake by Peter) ...

Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 111: Chilled Easter Monday ... and Happy Birthday Mum!

Such a lovely lazy chilled day ...

Proving Aidan and I have been together as housemates for a while - 7 years this year! - we both got each other and our bfs the same chocolate bunnies this year (they also gave us a bottle of red wine)

And here's a fabulous shot of Zara at her second home The Macadamia Castle ...

Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 110: Busy Easter Sunday! #Easter2014

A wonderful, busy and fun-filled day!

First stop, after Steve and I exchanged our traditional Easter baskets (mine was a tad more modest this year for obvious reasons), was back to my place for a hot cross bun brunch with my housemate Aidan.

My basket for Steve with Coffee the Bunny

Chocolate for breakfast!

Steve's Easter eggs for me

Dyed the Greek Easter eggs to take to John and Essie's

And then after a brief stop home to finish off the Greek Easter eggs, we set off about 2pm to John and Essie's at Marrickville - spent time with the usual Easter gang who are all so lovely - Gabrielle and Eric, their daughters Marielle and Bonny, Carla, Louise (who's a hoot!) and Simon and of course John, Essie and Ben and Sophie - over cheese and crackers, pastizzis, frankfurters and yummy cakes (the pistachio-topped one made by Fahmi) ...

Gabrielle and Eric

The Easter egg hunt was on in earnest!

Louise and her amazing Chicken Blobs (she loved my name for them)

John now has two very tame Cockatiels

Left there about 5.30pm and then after a brief stop in at home off to Peter's for a fabulously yummy relaxed dinner of roast chicken and veges and his home made raspberry cheesecake.
