Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 335 - Happy Birthday week finish!

After spending the day at Steve's, we drove back to Erko (via some old buildings in Dulwich Hill about to knocked down to build a new apartment block: makes me sad as I have seen them a lot since Steve moved here almost 5 years ago and Dulwich Hill won't look the same without them) ...

to grab some fish 'n' chips in Alexendria before heading over to Sydney Park with picnic rug, and some wine (and this year no wind!) to mark the tradtional end of my birthday week.

It was a magical, perfect night - the food and wine were great, the view beautiful and the company the absolute, most wonderful best. I love Steve so much and spending this night with him was sublime.

Out to Parramatta on the train to have lunch with Ngaire my lovely cousin.

Found a sweet little cafe, grabbed some nice healthy salads, talked lots and then did some shopping in Westfield Parramatta followed by afternoon tea at Michels (yummy caramel tart for me; just a coffee for Ngaire who is on a sugar free diet) which was fun.

Wonderful day and absolutely worth the trip!

Finished off the day with a nasty migraine, the aura for which arrived halfway through my walk with Waz. Hightailed it home and took all the pain meds I could find - had to stop in at convenience store and buy Panadol for a king's random but was desperate!

Yay for lovely friends and gift vouchers for gifts!

I spent the money shopping on King Street for some Christmas gifts (got most of Steve's) and using up my HUM voucher. The Better Read Than Dead one will get used when a book I ordered comes in.

Such a wonderful morning!

I caught up with a dear old work friend from FedEx days Barbara Magafa who I hadn't seen in 9 years and we didn't stop talking, laughing or having the most wonderful time for 3 hours.

So good to see her again!

It's my birthday!

I love my birthday!

And within my limited budget at the moment, I made the most of it, heading into the City early for an impromptu breakfast with Waz at Myer Foodcourt ...

Then to Event Cinemas to see the official birthday movie Filth  ... then some quick birthday voucher shopping at JB Hi Fi courtesy of Justin and Sunny ...

Then I met my darling man (who took time out of his busy schedule) for lunch outside DJs (had gone to buy Waz's Christmas ornament gifts) before heading to Westfield for lunch ... burgers at Charlie & Co. ... YUM!!

Got home about 2.45pm, in the middle of pouring rain (only rain of the day!) with Kerry on the phone and 3 surprise packages from her waiting at the door! Some Eurovision supplies and some Danish food treats ...

That night my darling man turned up at 7.15 with some fabulous presents - this year's reindeer! fabulous Fringe book! T-shirt and ... MIRANDA HART tickets!!! So happy!! And so gorgeously wrapped as always ...

Dinner was Glebe Point Diner ... funky atmosphere, great service and divine entrees and desserts ... my main was average but it was the only negative blip on the radar
