365 Pink Feather Boas All in a Row - Day 20 : Magical Squirrels and Yodelling Rickshaw Drivers

Yes I know what a day that would have been with magical singing squirrels ( yes there are non-magical singing squirrels but who wants to see them?) pirouetting around me much like the animals in Snow White, singing all sorts of light hearted Disney-esque tunes, and joined by yodelling rickshaw drivers whizzing to and fro, their voices in deep throated unison.

Alas, the day consisted of nothing of the kind (or not alas, in the case of the yodelling rickshaw drivers). Instead I spent a delightful 1 1/2 hours going through my boss's Outlook diary confirming meeting rooms - it is so exciting that my head burst and multi-coloured metallic confetti rained down everywhere, and choirs of manically dressed angels sang all around me and.....no, not really...sigh - till I feared I may go madder than I already am. For the record, I stopped just in time, but I have the thrilling prospect of four more months to go through tomorrow (let's hear it for Mya-August everyone!), which naturally shall keep awake all night, so agog and atwitter with excitement shall be..... again, no, not really...

The fun part was heading out to the local  mall and grabbing a couple of magazines I love to get occasionally - Entertainment Weekly and The Advocate (both from the USA), and some very healthy beef and chicken rice paper rolls... I rarely get lunch at all, let alone leave my desk to eat it, so this was a rare moment and I enjoyed it....

Now where are those damn squirrels?!
