Off to see Francis Ha again - well TRY to see it again - at Event Cinemas in the city and success!

Went to see Francis Ha at Dendy but didn't ... not because I didn't have a ticket but yet again Dendy's equipment broke down and after 45 minutes most of the audience and I just gave up, got refunds and went home ... wasn't total waste of time as I managed to get through Twitter ... still not happy ...

Thankfully the colour of the sunset that night was GORGEOUS ...

First stop was a belated birthday brunch with Alan and Pieta at Fun Machu in Darlinghurst ... yummy food and so wonderful to see them after so long ...

Then Peter dropped in, later joined by Waz and we have dips, wine and olives (yes the ones we bought yesterday! So great to try them out) out on the balcony till we had to leave for ...

The Union for a much needed catch up with Essie, John and Adrian, Ben and Sophie, Stephen M, John P, and Fahmi ... food great and fab to catch up ...

And Rachel (my sister) sent me through the cutest shot of nephew Bodhi and niece Jordan together ... so VERY cute ...

FINALLY made it to the food markets at Ramsgate for a quick brunch with Jeff and Jane - the pastries, prepared organic meals, dips and olives and so much more were divinely yummy; and best of all Jeff and Jane know all the stall holders by name because they go each week - and some chats about career stuff ...

and then off to the City for a night at the Australian Chamber Orchestra ... wonderful as always ... and special to share something with my guy ...

Off to the City by train to have morning tea with Francis at the ABC - ate a lot when they stuffed up his order for non-toasted bacon sandwich so I ate his toasted egg and bacon sandwich + my pecan tart + smoothie! - and checked out the Doctor Who exhibition in the ABC's lobby, staged to celebrate the show's 50th anniversary ...

Plus Steve sent me through some photos of his work celebration for his birthday and two others ... looks like fab cupcakes!

Lunch with Justin at new Japanese place Moshi Moshi Sushi on King Street, where Grub and Tucker used to be - we walked there and back - and lots of conversation and some window shopping in St Vinnies ... wonderful day ...

Then watched a preview of Elysium with Michael from SpidersGroup preceded by sushi at the place at Event Cinemas ...

movie great, dinner delicious and company fun.
