Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 319: Much delayed catch up with my friend Heather + Noah
I finally caught with my dear wonderful friend from FedEx days Heather and it was just like old times.
Lots of talking, lots of yum cha, laughter and an afternoon of shopping. Admittedly I am not flush with cash so my shopping was limited to two toys on special at MYER for Zara and Noah but we had a ball checking a fabulous band called Winterbourne in Pitt St Mall, checking out the Christmas decos in DJs and MYER and wandering all over the City.
An absolutely brilliant afternoon.

Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 184: Jurassic Goat
I found out today that there is a song called Jurassic Goat which is as you might expect - OK you'd have no chance of guessing what it is just as I didn't - goats singing the Jurassic Park theme music.
Yes really.
Ain't that fab?

Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 34 - TGIF - Always Unforgettable
Off to the Opera House tonight for a Natalie Cole concert. As Miranda's mother would say - "Such fun!"
It's Fahmi's Christmas present to my gorgeous guy and me, and while the artist in question was supposed to be a surprise, when half your friends are going and you get the Opera House emails then it isn't too hard to put 2 and 2 together and get a big bright shiny 4!
She was superb - her voice crystal clear, her smile dazzling and warm, and her stage presence, while not energetic, was rich and involving. She was on stage for a full two hours and frankly I didn't notice the time go by at all.
Here's my full review.
It was a truly wonderful night and a fabulous Christmas gift. Thanks Fahmi!
