Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 271: Sandwiches

After running from delightful pillar to post yesterday, Steve and I spent today chilling, napping, blogging and eating homemade sandwiches at his place.

Pure bliss.

Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 96: Yummy dinner

A chilled day at Steve's place with sleep-ins and naps and of course blogging - mocked up the week 5 & 6 instalments of Eurovision song reviews - and then Steve made a divinely yummy meat and beans and potato meal.

YUM!! The beans especially were more-ish and I had two meals the next week from them.

My lord he is a good cook and such a caring boyfriend.

Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 195 - Yummy dinner

My gorgeous guy cooked me a meal today, a day on which the sore throat of Friday night, and the stuffed nose and listlessness of Saturday, had given way to a full blown, chest-occupying cold.

He is loving getting back into cooking again and went to all the trouble of bringing this yummy dinner of chicken and vegetable stew (close enough to chicken soup!) across to me to enjoy (along with my housemate Aidan to).

So lovely to be looked after when I felt awful.

Here I am looking far happier than I actually felt

Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 188 - YUM!

A lovely quiet day at Steve's place - blogging, napping, reading and another instalment of Neil Oliver's The Celts ... but the piece de resistance was Steve's divinely yummy chicken cacciatore.

YUMMO!!!

Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 181 - Wet morning at work + Zara

Into work on a cold, wet Sunday morning to open up for two classes (with the help of my gorgeous guy) ...

Giving the day a wonderful sense of fun was this "silly face" shot of Zara ... such a gorgeous, delightful clown.

Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 260 - Quiet lazy day at Steve's

After yesterday's driving and camping, today was very quiet.

We slept LOTS - two hour long naps at 11.30 and 3.30, lots of huggles, I blogged while Steve sewed and then he made a delicious Spag Bol dinner.

Perfect chilled day with my man.

After tasting them for the first time on Friday night, I am now totally addicted to Mission Chilli and Lime corn chips and ate them all afternoon between brunch and dinner. YUM!!

Steve comically spent the day pretending it was still 9.30 a.m. by tilting the watch every which way

Oh and I reached 700 followers on Twitter. Yay!

Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 239 - Sloth, indolence ... and brunch

Christ stayed the night after the big game the day before and we had brunch at Kelbys, a great cafe in Marrickville with HUGE delicious big breakfasts and friendly service.

And after a very lazy day of napping, blogging and watching TV - another episode of the hilarious Green Wing, which is anarchic loopy British comedy at its best - Steve cooked from scratch with no recipe (he is SO clever!) a YUMMO chicken and noodle soup.

Divine.

Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 218 - Lazy day sleeping and reading ... PERFECT!

While my beautiful man went to see the Australian Chamber Orchestra with his friend Alan, I lazed at home. I was planning to throw some things onto Ebay for sale, write a blog post and ... I was tired so I napped and read.

Mission accomplished for a lazy Sunday.

(And no I didn't take photos of myself chilling so once again Lol Cats will play the part of actual photos I didn't take)

Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 92 - Chilled day

Today was delightfully quiet.

Brunch with Waz and Fahmi and my gorgeous guy at Lou Jack's and a slow meander back down King Street with one stop at the nursery for Fahmi to get some flowers...

Saw some cool graffiti on the wall of the Union Hotel near Fahmi's place...

Then I went back home while my guy did stuff at his place. I napped. I started reorganising my room and watched TV. Bliss on a freakin' stick!

Oh and I got another shot of my adorable niece from my sister. Zara (my niece) got her face painted at a sports game and had a ball. Helen (sister) saw little of the game but it mattered not as Zara had so much fun.

Hands Full of Glitter and Tofu : 2011 Day 317 (Sunday 13 November) - Yum Cha!

My wonderful friends Andrew & Monika were in town for the weekend to celebrate a significant birthday of Andrew's (who used to be my housemate from 2000-2005) and so my gorgeous guy and I caught up with them, and mutual friends, Jeff  & Jane for a big birthday Yum Cha! What fun!

The food @ Zilver was fabulous, so naturally we ate far too much while catching up on all the latest news. A perfect way to celebrate a birthday, and as Jane remarked, we have all used Yum Cha to celebrate a lot of major events in our lives. It is the perfect way to chill and relax and truly catch up with friends while the food comes to you.
