Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 297 - Disappointment, chocolate and Thai

Busy day vacuuming and re-arranging boxes in wardrobe - had been walking through it over last 2 days too and culled lots of paper and rearranged lots of stuff; felt so good to get so much done! - but day marred by ABC Dig telling me "thank you but no thank you"and not even an interview so did what anyone would do and ate the Cadbury choc bunny I found in one of the boxes. Ah comfort food, we love thee!

Went walking with Waz and then as Steve came back from Bathurst tonight, he picked me up and we went and had dinner at Sun Thai and I stayed the night. Lots of huggles!

He looks SOOO evil ... tasty but EVIL

Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 11 - Thai Me Up!

I am not a great lover of ruts but some ruts are good ruts.

Case in point - going to Sun Thai or Minhs Vietnamese - usually Sun Thai these days - in Dulwich Hill for dinner after Steve gets back from Bathurst.

A nice bottle of white wine, delicious food and fabulous food, not to mention most importantly having my guy back where I can see his smiling handsome face, is the perfect finish to what is a usually a stressful week.

Tonight was very much in that vein and it was a relief to relax, talk, laugh and eat with the person I love the most in the world.

Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 364 - Lazy first day back in Sydney ... or was it?

Met up with Fahmi and his friend Rocky at Dendy Newtown to see Les Miserables, ate lunch at Cafe C (kind of ordinary) and then home to Steve's for a nap, late dinner at Sun Thai in Dulwich Hill and an episode of Green Wing.

Oh and snapped a pic of Monster Threads shop window.

Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 188 - Somewhere over the rainbow ... to Sun Thai

Arrived at work early as usual to get work done and blog and after a little bit of rain, the MOST intense, colourful, beautiful rainbow appeared and stayed in place for 20 minutes, shadowed by another more opaque rainbow above it. Easily the most glorious rainbow ever - so thick, close and iridescent.

Magically beautiful and got TGIF off to a fine start.

My gorgeous guy got back from Bathurst today, picked me up on the way home (after I walked 6km with Waz around the park) and we headed out for dinner to Sun Thai in Dulwich Hill for some yummy food at 9.30 which is like 3 am in this suburb!

Coconut coated prawns with tamarind sauce and tofu with peanut sauce. YUM!

Op Ted (duck) and pineapple fried rice. YUM 2!

Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 125 - Thai Me Kangaroo Down Sport

No kangaroo on the menu tonight although I do love it. Just delicious Thai food and fabulous service at Sun Thai, our new Asian go to place in Dulwich Hill on Friday nights.

While we often still head into Minh, the Vietnamese restaurant right next door (where they were unusually and unnervingly friendly friendly the last time we visited), Sun Thai's food is delicious - their fish cakes have a spiciness that leaves all the others we have tried in the culinary dust - and because it's family run, there is a friendliness there that many other restaurants lack.

I love going there.
