Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 73: La cinema francaise

First of two movies at French Film Festival at Chauvel Cinemas with Steve (oddly only about 1/4 full but had shown earlier in festival too) ... loved Les Beaux Jours (Bright days Ahead) ... and nice to have a romantic night out at the movies with Steve ...

Off to another film showing at the French Film Festival - Une Estonienne a Paris - with Ingo, Ian, Fahmi and Alan and Pieta (Alan couldn't stay for the movie in the end and Pieta couldn't make dinner so we ate dinner at the Thai place near Oxford Hotel in Darlinghurst)

Great movie, great food, great friends and conversation ... and pretty (temporary) rainbow crossing.

Another night out at the French Film Festival, this time with Allan and Pieta in Leichhardt.

Dinner first at Martini Cafe then we saw The Dandelions at Palace's Norton Street cinemas.

Great movie, company and end to the week.

Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 73 - Mais oui Waz!

Off to the first movie I've booked for the French Film Festival - finally made it to it - Cherry on the Cake with Waz. The session came complete with wine and Lindt chocolates and a nice cooling breeze on the balcony.

The movie itself was fun and frothy but not as good as I'd hoped. Still enjoyed it.

Then we headed back into the gay section of Oxford Street - stopping for pics at the rainbow crossing on the way - for a yummy dinner at Thai Me Up - chicken in lemongrass, and beef in chilli basil stir fries.

Home by taxi, a talk to my gorgeous guy and bed.
