Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 272: Pink fairy floss sunrise and The Little Death

Out walking with Waz and greeted by a GORGEOUS pink-frosted cloudy sunrise ...

And finished the day off seeing The Little Death at Dendy Opera Quays for free - Steve got two tickets from Fahmi for his birthday - which wasn't bad but wasn't good either ... kinds disappointing and a little weird at times ...

And snapped a piece of chalk-based street art at the railway tunnel on Coulson Street on my way back from the train ...

Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 167: Retro cinema, and caramel sundaes

Such fun!

Met Steve after work to see Blazing Saddles at 6.30pm at Dendy Opera Quays. Steve was taken to see it when he was 10 by his mum and dad, who attracted some gentle opprobrium from other parents who didn't think it was suitable, and wanted to see it on its 40th anniversary, and I simply hadn't seen it at all. It was dated but fun!

Then we had dinner at The Paragon Hotel - although they had was pizza that night which was yummy - followed by a caramel sundae LARGE from McDonalds (well I did anyway). YUM!

Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 302 - Justin and Fahmi and outings oh my!

Lunch with Justin as the fabulous West Juliet Street cafe for 2 delightful hours where we shared sandwiches - 12 hour pork, and chicken and lime - and a divinely yummy bowl of handcut chips.

I love catching up with Justin and we talked about anything and everything including his possible PhD and suggestions that I pursue some qualifications of a technical nature through local community colleges. I felt much better about things afterwards and as always I'm so thankful he's such a good friend.

One house was decorated ready for Halloween

As I walking into the house from where Justin dropped me off, I marvelled again at the beauty of the Jacaranda trees ...

After a nap and some blogging, off into the City with Fahmi to see The Butler, a film I won free tickets for via a Dymocks competition.

The cookies and Maltesers were yum and the movie affecting for the most part.
