Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 318 - Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and David Jones Christmas

Fahmi had a spare ticket to see Dirty Rotten Scoundrels the musical - through the group organised via his friend Lindon - at Her Majesty's Theatre in the City.

It was wonderful! Witty dialogues, catchy songs and the acting and singing were superb!!

I am there in the shadows on the right LOL

On the slow stroll back to St James Station at 11pm - we had 20 minutes to next train! - we stopped and admired the David Jones Christmas windows, which are wonderful and tell the history of David Jones, one of the longest running department stores in the world.

Rachel also sent me to shots of brother in law Michael's birthday cake - a Thomas the Tank Engine cake! Bet Bodhi picked that design! LOL

Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 265 - Shopping in the City

Off to the city to buy Steve some new black leather shoes (mission successful at David Jones!), also managing to check out David Jones and Myer's Christmas displays, a funky red Smeg fridge at DJs and lunch at the Myer Foodcourt.

An exhausting day but lots and lots of fun.

Found candidates for Waz's ornament present this year!

Yay colourful snails ... the yellow one in the City ... and the pink one in Sydney Park that we walked to straight from the train ...

Finished shopping with cupcakes - YUM!!!

And here's Zara ...
