365 Pink Feather Boas All in a Row - Day 251 (Wednesday 8 September) : My Commuting Home Away From Home
In keeping with my aim of showing all the aspects of my life, both the mundane and the glorious, today's blog tilts towards the banal end of the spectrum with shots of Wynyard station that I usually rush through on the way to my train, which I often catch home with my friend Warren.
I often buy magazines at the newsagent including DNA and Empire to make sure that those precious 25 minutes on the train aren't wasted and I have been known to cross the concourse shown in light speed time since the trains to St Peters, even in peak hour, are spaced 15 minutes apart, and I am no great lover of standing wedged between the madd'ing crowd especially in the stultifying heat of Summer.
Like any airport, train stations are places to get through and from, and I am always happier when the train doors shut and I am on my way home.
