Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 24: More OAC! (with Waz)

Second and last Open Air Cinema for the season and while it stayed sunny and dry while I wait for Waz in line - we earlier met quickly for a muffin and drink at Myer when my haircut took far less time than expected - it began raining at he arrived at 5.50 and didn't let up afterwards, turning torrential during the movie itself (yay for ponchos!).

Thankfully we got a great table under an umbrella (my task while Waz got the nice StG seats), sat next to two friendly, delightful women and the movie Dallas Buyers Club was awesome!

First St George Open Air Cinema of the year!

I LOVE coming here and excited to be seeing a French movie Populaire with my beautiful guy Steve.

First stop though was the America art exhibition at Art Gallery of NSW showing the history of America through its art. Fascinating and FREE thanks to tickets from a work colleague of Steve's.

The Stonehenge bouncy castle in Sydney Festival Village

Then off to the Open Air Cinema and a relatively painless wait in line. Even 2/3 of the way up the hill, we got in and got a great table to eat at on a bright, sunny night. Fabulous weather, fabulous film and I was with my guy. Life is GOOD!

Entree - chicken pot pie dippy thingy and 4 itsy bitsy teeny weeny pieces of bread LOL

Yes I could have gone healthy but fish and chips are an OAC tradition

4 ladies across the row asked us to take their pic and very kindly returned the favour

Caramel Lindor Balls - they'd changed the ad from the last few years which instructed you to eat them at a particular time but ah well, they tasted yummy anyway!
