Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 197: Early start ... yummy lunch

Early start after staying overnight at Steve's place - he was driving to Bathurst so I was at station just after 6am and it was COLD so loved having my scarf!!

After morning at home, off to have lunch with Tricia in the City at Encasa Deli ... as usual we talked non-stop and the food was YUMMO! So wonderful to see her after a big gap ...

and then after a few hours at home back into the City to see a preview of Sex Tape with Peter, which was AWFUL ... complete crap ... but at least dinner was reasonably yummy at a restaurant in Chinatown next to hilariously a gay sex on premises place 357 ...

Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 353 - Lunch with Tricia ... and Christmas dinner with my gorgeous guy

Into City for lunch with Tricia at fab Spanish deli called Encasa. Sandwiches were YUM - my calamares (calamri) one with aioli was fab! - and my Colombian apple drink was delish. Fab to talk and catch up before Christmas (gave Tricia and Gerald a bottle of wine and a card).

Back home for a 1km swim (after walking with Fahmi that morning) and then watched two episodes of Grimm including "12 days of Krampus" before getting ready for the annual Christmas dinner Steve and I have every year to spend time together before winging our way to family celebrations.

I bought a cooked chook and some potatoes to bake, along with broccoli, pumpkin and carrot and we had a dip and cheese for entree with fruit mince pie and ice cream for dessert. We exchanged presents before the main meal - always lots of fun and Steve TOTALLY surprised me with the Gonzo ornament I'd seen just a few days ago in City - and watched episode 3 of A Moody Christmas and The Vicar of Dibley's "A Christmas Lunch Incident". So much fun!
