Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 182 - Cocktails and Sherpas
Night out on King Street with the gang.
First stop was going to be Kuletos for cocktails but crazy busy full so we moved 2 doors up to Corridor, a new micro bar that is three very slim stories tall with a cool outdoors area on the roof. Yes we were all up against a thin narrow wooden ledge but we were able to talk, and apart from start cigarette smoke from the "cancer chasers" aka smokers, it was a delightful evening. The cocktails were delish too.
Then just down the block to Sherpa Kitchen for dinner. Peter and I grabbed the wine and met everyone else there giving us time for some chit chat about the life, the universe etc. The food as always was divinely good - love the momos and guess what their butter chicken was awesome (colour me surprised!) - the conversation fun and the service was fabulous. Love the place.
We bid farewell to Steve M and then Peter, Waz, my gorgeous guy and I wandered home via Gelato Blue for gelato on a very cold night. But they were doing a brisk trade!
