Hands Full of Glitter and Tofu : 2011 Day 348 - Why I love Christmas
I LOVE Christmas! Love the decorating, time with friends, the sheer fun of it, and most of all, loving being with my man in the middle of it all. So here's all my tweets on the hashtag #whyilovechristmas that articulate why I love it so much:
#whyilovechristmas Sitting in a Sushi Train listening to funky jazz-influenced slightly odd versions of Christmas carols. Merii Kurisumasu!
#whyilovechristmas Picking out the right wrapping paper, coordinating the gifts just so and seeing the joy on the recipient's face.
#whyilovechristmas Successfully beating off the hordes of zombie elves and carnivorous candy canes... wait only if I've drunk too much wine.
#whyilovechristmas Making the salads and curried eggs with my family in the kitchen & eating my body weight in choc. sultanas while I do so
#whyilovechristmas Chocolate for breakfast! Given it's a festive events, there are no calories and it begins the day as I mean to finish it!
#whyilovechristmas Chocolate-covered sultanas, white choc-covered marshmallows and fruit mince pies (oh and don't forget Boxing Day liposuction)
#whyilovechristmas Finding the true meaning of Christmas and not being snatched away by the Christmas pterodactyl (Community anyone?)
#whyilovechristmas I have a Christmas moose on my files which automatically makes them lots more fun and festive!
#whyilovechristmas I finally get to stoop, switch off frenetic mode, and just be... well mostly. Still must blog and read and...lol
#whyilove christmas I get to decorate my desk at work with a Christmas moose, multiple-coloured miniature stockings and perhaps a candy cane.
#whyilovechristmas @michaelbuble's new Christmas album makes even a crowded peak hour commuter train feel like a magical wonderland. Really.
