Hands Full of Glitter and Tofu : 2011 Day 81 (Tuesday 22 March) - Happy Birthday Beves!

Well technically it was yesterday, and yes, unlike the last three years when I rang him a few days late, this year I called him on the day itself. But in honour of the fact that I forget Steve's birthday (Beves is the nickname I gave him years ago, derived from Stevie Bevie, which in true Aussie fashion got shortened a lot!) more often that I remember, by virtue of the fact he's the first immediate family member to have a birthday in a year (not withstanding my Nanna's in January), I am recording his birthday a day late.

Some traditions should always be honoured don't you think?
