Hands Full of Glitter and Tofu : 2011 Day 40 (Wednesday 9 February) - Outdoors with Flicks in my Eyes

Tonight was my second visit to the magical surrounds of the Open Air Cinema, and while rain was looming, it never arrived, and from the moment when I joined Warren in the queue at 5.20pm - waaaaay closer to the front that we've ever been before thanks to Warren getting there at 4.30 (yes I love all the extra 'a's in 'way' too!) - to the credits rolling on what was an intense, emotuionally wrenching movie at times (while curiously uninvolving at others), the night was perfect.

Light breeze, fish n chips just right, great table right near the water, sparkling conversation with a nice NZ white wine with Warren's friend Sue over dinner, the arrival of my gorgeous guy from Bathurst, the always stellar view of the CIty, Opera House and Bridge, and a movie by Clint Eastwood.
