365 Pink Feather Boas All in a Row - Day 36 : Wet Behind the Ears Again....But Not Naive Baby

In this case, literally wet!

I have finally made it back in the pool, after months of not getting anywhere near it, save for walking past the gym where it's located to get my mail. This is big news - well for me anyway; for the rest of you it's probably fair to mind numblingly irrelevant - because it means I am pulling back from the precipice of middle aged slight tubbiness (for the first time in my life, I was starting to develop a, gasp!, small paunch) and fighting back. Thankfully my body responds well and speedily to the rigours of swimming a 1km of laps and I am hoping I start to looking a lot more sleek than is the currently the case, in the not too distant future....

Oh and the best part of today was seeing my lovely guy for the first time in 5 days.... I have missed him and it will be great to see his handsome face again!
