365 Pink Feather Boas All in a Row - Day 35 : Frequently Miled But Never Kilometered

I discovered today, months after my fabulous trip to the Great White North eh (Canada), that not one of my five flights had made it's way onto my United Airline's Mileage Plus account. Quite how that happened, or in the case of the miles going nowhere, didn't happen, is beyond me, but it is not an easy process - wow humongous surprise there! -  to get the miles onto the account if the airline isn't United, even if they're a member of the Star Alliance which Air Zealand (my long distance carrier to the USA) is.

No matter how I tried, their online system would not accept my ticket number as valid, and so I am in frequent flyer limbo, waiting for my travel agent to call me back - thank goodness she is a delight to deal with! - and try to find a valid sequence for the ticket number that United will accept.

Of course, if you wanted to be deeply, unredemptively cynical, you may think that deliberately make it difficult to dissuade from getting your rightfully accrued miles. I mean, that's if you were that sunny-disposition-be-damned-for-all-eternity cynical. But me? No, I am Pollyanna on ecstasy baby.... still.....
