Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 223 - Pineapple, mint and grocery shopping

Brunch at South End before Steve headed off to work again ... this time at home ...

I went exercising with Waz - there doing lots of construction work at Sydney Park so walking was a bit of an obstacle course with diversions onto the perimeter footpath at one point - then off to Marrickville Metro for grocery shopping and a spot of arvo tea while we waited for Woolies to not be so crazy busy.

Then dinner with my gorgeous guy at my place ...

Quick early brunch with Steve at Noemi's Cafe - interrupted twice by a good natured, handsome but totally stoned guy called Mason who wanted to know where the "day clubs" are and do we have cocaine - before he went into the City for a day's work ... on a Saturday! ... but they had a Go Live on Monday so it was all hands on deck.

Ah the Morning Glory juice ... yes they really call it that

Then I chilled for a while before heading into City via train for Yum Cha with Ellen and Tracy at The Eight Chinese restaurant at the top of Market City. Food was tasty enough but not the best Yum Cha I've ever had I have to say. Afterwards we headed to Paddy's for a shop but lasted 10 minutes - it's lost all its character now and feels like a giant $2 shop ...

Finished off the day watching Behind the Candelabra with my gorgeous guy, Steve, Waz, Ian and Ingo at Hoyts Broadway followed by dinner at Himalayan Char Grill in Glebe.

Today's main task was getting my review of P!NK's amazing concert onto my blog.

It's been 10 months in the making but after getting the tickets in October last year, and dinner at Market City food court (above Paddy's), we finally got to see P!NK in concert and she was AWESOME!!!

As absolutely amazingly good as she's been every time before - brilliant night!!

Met up with Waz who came with his sister and her friends and caught the train home with him after seeing my gorgeous guy off on his train.

and then headed over to the Arthouse Hotel for drinks with Tricia - she shouted me to a lovely bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and some soft, buttery calamari - before we headed up to the sushi place in The Galeries. Fabulous, conversation-full catch up and so good to spend time with her.

Back to keeping myself insolvent with lots of EBAY-ing!
