365 Pink Feather Boas All in a Row - Day 341 : ... and the Birthday Goes On and On and On...

A grand old tradition continued today when my bestie gal pal from work, Sammi, and I adjourned to Hurricanes steak and rib restaurant at Darling Harbour for my birthday dinner. Every year we celebrate each other's birthdays at Hurricanes, and eat insane amounts of steak and ribs, while drinking delicious cocktails and catching up on all the conversations we would like to have at work but never get the time to have.

Tonight was as lovely as always, and even though we were seated inside (the balcony is so lovely on a Summer's evening) and ordered an entire rack of pork ribs (when a half would have been plenty!), the night flew by in a wonderful blur of friendship, Ruby Red cocktails (love the candied hibiscus flowers so much!) and way more pig than any man or woman should ever consume.... and why not? It's a birthday meal after all!

We even checked out the Darling Harbour Christmas Tree on the way back into the City! Love the colours!!
