More rain.

More soaked socks (I took extra along yesterday and today to prevent having wet feet all day).

Woke up feeling AWFUL - caught Steve's hot and cold clammy crawling fever thing from last week - but went to work as Thursday is busy with Fairfax article needing to be uploaded and social media programmed ... managed to get that all done and went home at 12.30 to sleep.

Started pouring down when I was sitting on platform waiting for train but my massive village-sheltering FedEx umbrella kept me snug and dry even as rain POURED down.

Had some lovely Indian food for lunch from Wynyard - feeling sick made me crave comfort food bigtime - and it was so lovely to collapse into bed.

At time of typing, still feeling fever crappy ... le sigh ...
