Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 86 - Holidaying in the wild blue yonder Day 3
A big sleep in today and a long morning into the afternoon of reading my Peter F Hamilton novel Great North Road. Feet up on the lounge looking over the beautiful valley, Steve near me reading too.
Yummy sandwich for lunch then mid-arvo off to do a short bush walk at Jerusalem Creek, southern end of Barrington Tops National Park. It was hot and muggy in the rainforest itself, underlining as Steve pointed out how much of a micro-climate exists there, and we came back soaked through but totally worth the clambering up and down the leaf-litter strewn paths ...
Then back home for dinner and feeding the wallabies who LOVED the crackers we gave them ... LOVED them ...
And then we ate white chocolate Lindt bunnies ... YUM. I love holidays
