Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 84 - Holidaying in the wild blue yonder day 1

First day of the holiday and we were a little slow getting going.

We slept at our own places overnight to get washing done etc, and in my case one or two last blog posts on sparklyprettybriiiight.com since I correctly guessed connectivity would be an issue way out in the middle of nowhere (plus I wanted a holiday from blogging too, much as I love it) ... but after a stop at Woolies Marrickville to get groceries, we hit the road, grabbing petrol and Malteser easter bunnies at the service station on Princes Highway before heading through Sydney to the F3 northwards and thence to Dungog.

A brief stop at Lorn NSW (near Maitland) for drinks and meat pies and DIVINE caramel tarts, then on through Dungog - stopped for more supplies at Lovely's Super IGA - and then to the cabin which initially looked a little stark but which we quickly warmed to.

And then the wallabies appeared ... loved it!

Once again the smurfs came with us
