Hands Full of Glitter and Tofu : 2011 Day 323 - More Christmas ornament shopping... this time the good stuff!

We had brunch at the fabulous Post Cafe in Marrickville - AWEOME, I tell you, AWESOME food and the most warm friendly service EVER - with Waz and then naturally, it being the lead-up to Christmas and all, we headed down the highway to... no, not IKEA... The Christmas Shop, all painted in festive red, green and gold, in Sans Souci. 

It is sooooo much better than all the crappy stores in Alexandria/Waterloo that words cannot describe how fabulous it looks. It is beautifully air conditioned, staffed by people who love Christmas and love working there (the camaraderie and sense of fun is obvious) and is stuffed to the rafters with everything from trees to ornaments to tinsel to Disney figurines... everything you need to make a fun but tasteful Christmas! We were in there about 1 1/2 hours and we had a ball. We bought more ornaments that we don't need but they will look wonderful on the tree and shall naturally be featured in this same blog when the tree finally makes it up in my lounge room...
