Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 60: Mardi Gras parade

Kicked the day off with brunch with Ellen and Tracy at Southend (poor Susie was sick with the flu) ...

Though it rained most of the afternoon, we headed in to watch the parade for the first time in three years (last two got completely rained out) with Ian and Ingo and Waz about 4.30pm or so - Ian and Ingo were already in the City and held a piece of the barricade for us - and we were joined by Justin and Sunny, Erica and Paulo, and Jason Lake's friend Wil and his friends Sean and Matt (not a couple).

It was as much fun as ever although our volunteer this year was very quiet and barely said a word (unlike other years where they've been enormously talkative) ...

And I got a lovely shot of Bodhi with his toy leaf blower. He loves his tools!
