Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 36: The EYE has it

Took Waz across to get the cataract removed from his left eye at a private hospital in Killara. He needed someone to come home with him afterwards and given he'd been in op for the arvo, I took a book to read in the reading room. A BIG book.

Turns out I didn't need it. We got the train over them just after 12.30 to get there by 1.30 with Waz scheduled for 2pm. He didn't end up going into 'til 4pm and we left just after 6pm.

Thankfully wait wasn't too bad as we sat there and talked with two other people and their partners waiting for ops who turned out to be really lovely, friendly people. Long arvo but fun.

Finished with Taylor Thai food with Waz in his apartment and I went home about 9-ish.
