Then off to Melbourne to start Steve's official birthday celebrations with his family.

Yes we had Maccas for dinner - first time in YEARS - and then via Skybus and a taxi headed straight to Darren and Melissa's for Matisse's 13th birthday party!

Had a fabulous time seeing Steve's family again and catching up with Michael and Amy (Melissa's brother and sister in law), her sister Sue and her delightful mum.

Lots of pizza and wine and fun conversation and a late night.

Totally worth it!
