Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 104 - Happy 80th Part 2 day 1
Today was Ken's actual birthday - he and my dad were born one week apart in the same year! - and we had a big party kicking off at 12.30 at Carolyn and Ric's place.
As usual, I had a ball catching up with Steve's delightful family, eating waaaay too much delicious food (highlights: Ric's sausage rolls, Melissa's lamb and Sue's beef stroganoff) and having with his wonderful nieces and nephews.
It was such a shame to leave them behind when Brian drove us to the airport at 5.45 for our flight.
But we had a ball and best of all Ken celebrated his big day in style!
