Swimming Pretty in the Glass-Half-Full 2012: Day 68 - Acting like Noah
Wow so much rain!
I took my gigantic umbrella to work with me - ye olde FedEx one - and it still wasn't enough to protect me from squalling winds, driving rains and rivers running across roads and down footpaths. It was, I am told by the Sydney Morning Herald, the wettest March day in 30 years.
I'd believe it. I got to work with my jeans two-toned, the part beneath the knees soaked, and the thighs wet. My short tails wet, and my socks deeply, uncomfortably soaked through. Thank goodness for a heater that dried everything out!
It had all cleared by the afternoon and I had a dry trip home thank the weather gods...

I work by the Harbour. No, really I do. See I... oh never mind... |
